Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. The petitioner has approached this Court being aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities in respect of a complaint addressed on 11.04.2025.

State has submitted a report which reflects that earlier on the basis of complaint of the present petitioner, Kasba Police Station Case No. 285 dated 22.07.2024 has been registered for investigation against the private respondent nos. 5 and 6 and others. According to the State, the property referred to in the contents of the writ petition and the representation made to the police authorities are different. However, so far as the complaint dated 28.06.2024 is concerned, the police authorities have already registered the criminal case.

Learned advocate appearing for the private respondent nos. 5 and 9 submits that the writ petition is misconceived as no documents have been enclosed.

Learned advocate appearing for the private respondent nos. 6, 7 and 8, on the other hand, submits that the respondent nos. 6 and 7 are the son and daughter-in-law respectively of the deceased and the respondent nos. 8 and 9 are not connected, although they have been referred to in the writ petition.

Be that as it may, since the criminal case has already been registered, further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted.

Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 12904 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
