1. The petitioner was appointed pursuant to the recruitment process of first SLST, 2016.

2. The application of the petitioner seeking transfer has become infructuous as his job has been terminated in view of the judgment delivered by the Hon'ble Supreme Court on 3rd April, 2025, in Civil Appeal No. 4800/2024 (State of West Bengal -vs.- Baishakhi Bhattacharya (Chatterjee) & Ors.).

3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed as 'infructuous'.
