The petitioner is aggrieved that police has not taken appropriate steps pursuant to her FIR. She appears through video conference and submits that she has been subjected to mental and sexual harassment.

The written instruction on behalf of the police authorities submitted in court today be kept with the records.

It appears that there has been no flaw on the part of the police authorities in lodging the FIR or conducting the investigation. Instead it is found that on the date fixed by the Court for examination of complainant under Section 164 Cr. P. C., the complainant did not made herself available. Be that as it may, the petition is being disposed of by directing the police authorities to continue with the investigation of the case, as per the statutory provisions and without giving any slack.

WPA No. 14128 of 2024 is, accordingly, disposed of.
