Biswanath Chakraborty Ms. Shipra Santra ...for the petitioner This application under Article of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the wife praying for a direction upon the learned Additional District Judge, 2nd Court at Durgapur to dispose of the Matrimonial Suit No.12 of 2016 expeditiously.

In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed this Court feels that there is no necessity to direct issuance of any notice upon the opposite parties. However, the learned advocate on record of the petitioner shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with this order upon the opposite parties or the learned advocates representing the opposite parties before the learned Trial Judge.

From the order sheets appended to this application this Court finds that July 8, 2024 was fixed for filing additional written statement and for framing of issues.

In the light of the submissions made by the learned advocate for the petitioner CO 1820 of 2024 is disposed of by requesting the learned Additional District

Judge, 2nd Court at Durgapur to make an endeavor to see that Matrimonial Suit No.12 of 2016 is disposed of as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties. In view of this order nothing survives to be decided in CAN 1/2025 which accordingly stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
