Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

Petitioner challenges criminal prosecution being Islampur Police Station Case No.243 of 2026 dated 18th May, 2026 and also prayer is made for granting interim protection to the petitioner in connection with aforesaid criminal prosecution. 3.

Ms. Chatterjee, learned advocate representing the State has filed a communication dated 29th June, 2026 of Officer-in-Charge, Islampur Police Station, Murshidabad Police District and same is taken on record.

It is disclosed in the said communication dated 29th June, 2026 that apart from aforesaid criminal prosecution there are three other criminal prosecutions initiated against the petitioner;-

i) Islampur Police Station Case No.653 of 2018 dated 25th December, 2018;

ii) Islampur Police Station Case No.126 of 2019 dated 7th March, 2019;

iii) Islampur Police Station Case No.319 of 2023 dated 3rd August, 2023.

In all these three criminal prosecutions chargesheets were filed. 6.

On posing query to the learned advocate representing the petitioner whether pendency of these criminal prosecutions are disclosed in this writ petition or not, this Court does not get satisfactory answer.

At this stage learned advocate representing the petitioner prays for leave to withdrawn the writ petition.

Writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
