1. The petitioners, who are Government Contractors and suppliers under the Department of Fisheries have a grievance against the private respondent alleging that the private respondent submitted a fake credential and obtained a contract in the year 2021.

2. The learned advocate appearing for the private respondent vehemently denies the said allegation.

3. In any event, as of now, the work awarded to the private respondent has been stated to have been completed.

4. In such circumstances, question of directing the representation to be considered or inquiry to be conducted, at this stage, would not arise. However, in future, if the private respondent participates in any tender, the authorities are bound to scrupulously verify

the credentials and ascertain as to whether the averments made in the credentials/certificates are true and correct.

5. With the above observations, writ petition is disposed of.

6. No costs.

7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties expeditiously upon compliance of all legal formalities.
