It is pointed out by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent no. 3, at the very outset, that 17 petitioners have joined hands in filing the present writ petition which pertains to 17 separate cases which are pending before the respondent no. 2 who is the controlling authority. According to him, separate writ petitions ought to have been filed by the writ petitioners.

In reply, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioners submits that the writ petitioners are not financially capable of filing separate writ petitions and in any event, the prayer of all the writ petitioners is identical . The writ petitioners only pray for expeditious disposal of their cases pending before the respondent no. 2.

Having considered the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties and the material on record, it appears that innocuous prayer of the petitioners is for expeditious disposal of their cases pending before the respondent no. 2 since 2015/2016. Without enter into the merits of this case, I dispose of the writ petition with a direction upon the respondent no. 2 to dispose of the cases filed by the petitioners before the said authority in 2015/2016 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order, in accordance with law.

This writ petition being WPA No. 13688 of 2021 is disposed of.

There shall be, however, no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties on usual undertakings. (Suvra Ghosh,J)
