Heard learned Counsel appearing for the parties. 2.

The petitioner who is working as Ward Master is alleged to have threatened the informant and pulled her sharee in course of altercation. It is further alleged that the petitioner demanded bribe of Rs. 20,000/- per month from the informant to regularize her misdeed.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the informant was supplying cooked food to the hospital and the petitioner had questioned the quality of food supplied by the informant before the higher authorities for which this false FIR has been lodged. The investigation is stated to have progressed substantially.

Regard being had to such facts and submissions, factum of permanent residence of the petitioner, nature of allegation, question of parity and substantial progress in the

investigation, it is directed that the petitioner shall be released on bail by the Arresting Officer in the event of his arrest on such terms and conditions as deemed just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case including the condition that the petitioner shall appear before the I.O. once in a week on the day and time fixed by the I.O. till the submission of F.F and the petitioner and/or his employees shall not threaten, induce or coerce the informant or any other witnesses in any manner during the pendency of the investigation. 5.

Within 21 days of the receipt of server copy or certified copy of this order, each of the petitioner is directed to appear before the I.O along with a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the prayer for the anticipatory bail is allowed. 7.
