It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is in custody for more than 8 1⁄2 months and that the police are yet to obtain the chemical report.

Learned advocate for the State submits that police is in possession of the chemical report.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and bearing in mind the fact that commercial quantity of ganja was recovered from the possession of the petitioner, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
