Affidavit of service submitted by the petitioners and memo of evidence filed by the State are taken on record. Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The petitioners seek expeditious disposal of the proceeding being ST-31 of 2018 pending before the learned Additional Sessions Judge, 5th Court, Barasat, North 24 Parganas.

It appears that the complaint was lodged in 2014 and charge was framed on 11th July, 2018. Out of 10 charge sheeted witnesses 5 witnesses have been examined.

In view of the above, the revisional application is disposed of directing the learned Trial Court to dispose of the case being ST-31 of 2018 pending before him as expeditiously as possible, preferably within one year from the next date of hearing fixed before him without granting

any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
