Panja, Mr. Sumit Roy ...for WBSETCL 20-06-2025 AKG Ct. 15 The petitioner seeks a direction upon the respondents to comply with an order dated February 19, 2025, passed by the District Magistrate, Hooghly, whereby he directed the West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (WBSETCL) to determine compensation and disburse the same to the petitioner for any damage sustained by the petitioner for drawing High Tension Line over 94.49 square feet area of south west part of the petitioner's vacant land.

West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited, however, does not deny the fact that the order of the District Magistrate, Hooghly has not yet complied with. In that view of the matter, I direct WBSETCL to act in terms of the order dated January 19, 2025, within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order. The petitioner shall be heard by WBSETCL. A reasoned

order should be passed and communicated the petitioner. Accordingly, WPA 12927 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
