Pursuant to a complaint lodged by the petitioner before the police on April 28, 2024 an FIR is reported to have been lodged. The petitioner filed a further complaint on May 30, 2024 regarding the selfsame incident.

Allegation is that the subsequent complaint has not been acted upon.

Learned advocate representing the private respondent submits that the original complaint which was lodged has resulted in registering of the FIR being no. 239/2024 u/ss. 447/323/325/354/307/504/34 IPC. It has been submitted that the petitioner has lodged

a subsequent complaint and is trying to improve the case by adding up further sections.

Learned advocate representing the State respondents submits that as FIR has already been lodged, the subsequent complaint filed by the petitioner may be considered along with the same.

As it appears that an FIR has already been registered, the police is directed to take into consideration the further complaint lodged by the petitioner on April 30, 2024 along with the FIR and, if required, add up the relevant sections and investigate the same in accordance with law.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
