Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The petitioner is a holder of three permanent stage carriage permits of the route Puratangram to Nababhat (Burdwan). The petitioner seeks consideration of the objection filed by him before the authority on 7th December, 2022 against illegal and unauthorised operation of vehicles by respondent nos.4 to 9 in the said route in violation of the permit granted to them.

Learned counsel for the State respondents submits that the 2nd respondent be directed to consider the objection, in accordance with law.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the objection submitted by the petitioner on 7th December, 2022 within six weeks from the date of communication of this order upon affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the stakeholders including the petitioner and the private respondents, in accordance with law.

The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
