By taking out this writ petition, the writ petitioners sought for a direction upon the respondents to allow them to participate in the interview scheduled to be held on 16th June, 2008 for filling up the subject post.

By efflux of time, the writ petition has become infructuous.

In view thereof, the writ petition is disposed of. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
