Mr. Bhattacharya, learned advocate appearing for the alleged contemnor no.2 submits that earlier an affidavit-of-compliance was filed stating that some more time is required to demolish the remaining about 20% of the unauthorized construction.

Today, Mr. Bhattacharya further submits, upon instruction, that the remaining portion of the unauthorized construction has also been demolished and the petitioner has also written a letter to the Chairman categorically stating that "as per your direction, the illegal portion has now been successfully demolished. I am fully satisfied with the action taken by Katwa Municipality in resolving the matter effectively and maintaining fairness". Let such letter, as produced, be kept on record.

In view thereof and as the order of this Court has already been complied with, I am not inclined to

proceed with the contempt application any further and the same is, accordingly, disposed of.
