1. Affidavit-of-service filed today be kept on record.

2. The petitioner's grievance is that the petitioner's application under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act, 2002 has been kept pending inordinately. It is further submitted by learned counsel for the financial institution/petitioner that there is no pending proceeding under Section 17 of the SARFAESI Act, 2002.

3. Accordingly, WPA No. 14200 of 2024 is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 2, that is, the District Magistrate, Paschim Bardhaman to dispose of the petitioner's application under Section of the SARFAESI Act, 2002 as expeditiously as possible, positively within four weeks from the date of communication of this order to the said respondent.

4. There will be no order as to costs.

5. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
