An affidavit of compliance has been filed in Court by the Pradhan, Monirtat Gram Panchayat wherefrom it appears that a hearing was conducted and a resolution was adopted on 8th February, 2022. A copy of the said resolution was communicated to the petitioner. It appears from the averments made in the affidavit of compliance that there is substantial compliance of the order passed by this Court on 2nd March, 2021.

In view of the above, the contempt application stands disposed of.

The petitioner will be at liberty to take appropriate steps, in the event he is aggrieved by the order passed by the Pradhan, Monirtat Gram Panchayat, before the appropriate forum, in accordance with law, if so advised.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
