On the last occasion, a proposal for settlement of the dispute in connection of which Bidhannagar North Police Station Case No.128 of 2018 was registered was sought to be compromised on the ground that after effecting compromise, the petitioner would pay balance amount of Rs.10,00,000/- to the opposite party no.2.

By an order dated 11th July, 2022 this Court directed the petitioner to liquidate entire dues before the settlement on the basis of compromise petition would be entertained by this Court.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has already received a Demand Draft for

Rs.10,00,000/- drawn on ICICI Bank. A copy of such Demand Draft be kept with the record.

The Investigating Officer of the case is also present.

Since the dispute between the parties is amicably settled and there is no grievance of the opposite party against the petitioner, the Investigating Officer is at liberty to record such fact and file final report before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bidhannagar within 7 days from the date of this order.

The learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bidhannagar shall pass necessary order accepting the final report within 7 days from the date of filing of final report.

The parties are at liberty to act on the server copy o the order.
