The petitioner complains that an order of status quo passed in February 2009 by the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), 1st Court, Uluberia in T.S. 160 of 2007, is not being complied with by the private respondents.

There was compliance for a substantial period of time but recently construction has started. The writ petition is entertained since the lawyers of the Uluberia Court are not attending work in view of the excessive heat.

The petitioner has taken out proceedings under Sections 144/107 of the Cr. P.C.

The Uluberia Police is represented.

6.

It is submitted that the construction that was going on, has stopped at the instance of the police.

7.

The police shall ensure that there no construction and strictly abide by the orders that may be passed by the Civil Court on them specifically.

8.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

9.

There shall be no order as to costs.

10.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
