The petitioner superannuated from service on March 17, 2014, but has not received gratuity for his service till date.

Notice filed by the petitioner before respondent No.3 went unheeded and a case being G-50/18 was initiated before respondent No.2 which is still pending. The petitioner prays for a direction upon respondent No.2 to dispose of the said case within a specified time limit.

Having considered the submissions made by the parties and material on record, I dispose of the writ petition with the direction upon the respondent No.2 to dispose of the Case No.G-50/18 within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order and after affording

opportunity of hearing to all the affected parties including the petitioner, in accordance with law.

In view of the same, WPA 13787 of 2021 is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
