From the report it is seen that the report has been filed by the S.I. of Kalighat Police Station on 05.04.2025 stating that the respondent Arabinda Samanta, s/o Late Jagadish Samanta had expired on 01.04.2021. Photocopy of the death certificate is also annexed by the S.I. of Kalighat Police Station along with the report.

As the respondent has already died, so the instant appeal stands abated against him.

The instant appeal be and the same is dismissed as abated. The appeal being GA 19 of 2001 stands disposed of. Let a copy of this order along with the Trial Court Records be sent down to the Trial Court at once.
