We have considered the materials on record. Narcotics above commercial quantity was recovered from the petitioner and co-accused. Under such circumstances and in view of the statutory restrictions under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

The application for bail is thus rejected.

We are also not impressed that the petitioner is required to be released on bail for the treatment of his mother as there are other family members who can take care of such emergency.
