Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

The learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that the issue involved in this writ petition relates to 1st State Level Selection Test, 2016 (Classes IX & X) and in connection with the said selection process appropriate direction has been sought for upon instituting the present writ petition.

The learned advocate representing the Commission submits that the entire selection process of 1st SLST 2016 (Classes IX & X and XI & XII) has been set aside by the Hon'ble Division Bench and the issue is pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

In view of pendency of the issue before the Hon'ble Supreme Court no order need be passed on

this writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed.

However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to take steps in accordance with law in future, if situation so arises.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the learned Advocates for the parties on the usual undertakings.
