1. With the consent the matter is finally heard.
2. During the course of hearing the learned counsel for the petitioners and the State agreed that this PIL may be disposed of by directing the respondent no.4 to decide the mass representation of the petitioners dated 6th February, 2024 (annexure P-2) within stipulated time.
3. In view of consensus arrived at, this PIL is disposed of by directing the petitioners to re-submit the said representation along with copy of this order before the said respondent. In turn, the said respondent shall consider and decide the representation in accordance with law expeditiously within 45 days. If necessary, it will be open for the said respondent to hear the interested parties before taking a final decision.
4. This PIL is disposed of without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case.
