Ms. Debanwita Pramanik ..for the petitioner Ms. Kalpita Paul ..for the State The petitioner has prayed for issuance of a mandamus directing the respondent to intimate him about the correct ownership of lands being CS Dag No. 381/RS-1352 and CS Dag No. 382/RS-4128 within Mouza Panipathar in the District of Purulia.

From the materials disclosed in this writ petition it appears from the information supplied by the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Puncha, Purulia that R.S. Plot No. 1352 is recorded in the name of Collector of Purulia in favour of the State and the nature of the said land is Danga and the total area measuring 54.49 acres is totally vested to the State. The order of vesting cannot be assailed in a writ petition. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the order of vesting the petitioner has to work out his remedies in according with law.

With the above observations, WPA 13065 of 2025 stands disposed of by leaving the petitioner free to take steps in accordance with law.

There shall be, however, no order as to costs. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
