Prayer for anticipatory bail in respect of petitioner nos. 1,2,3 and 6 is not pressed since they have been arrested in the meantime. Heard learned counsels for the parties.

It appears that 4th petitioner Chiranjit Mondal is the principal assailant who inflicted grievous injury on the victim. Considering the material on record and the prima facie involvement of the petitioner no.4 Chiranjit Mondal in the alleged offence, his prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. However, considering the extent of complicity of the petitioner nos. 5 and 7 in the alleged offence, their prayer for anticipatory bail is allowed.

Accordingly in the event of arrest, the petitioners namely Rohit Mandal and Prosenjit Mandal be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS. The petitioners shall appear before the

learned jurisdictional Court and pray for regular bail within two weeks from date.

The application for anticipatory bail is disposed of. Case Diary be returned.
