The instant criminal revision is filed challenging legality, validity and propriety of the order dated 28th April, 2022 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Dantan, West Medinipur. By passing the order the learned Magistrate closed the evidence on behalf of the complainant in C. R. Case No.624 of 2001.

It appears from the record that the complainant previously approached this Court by filing CRR No. 1144 of 2007 for expeditious disposal of the case. A Co-ordinate Bench of this Court passed an order directing the trial Court to dispose of the said complaint case within six weeks from the date of the order. Subsequently, the petitioner has consumed 16 years but could not conclude his evidence.

I do not find any infirmity in the order passed by the learned Magistrate.

Accordingly, the instant revision is summarily dismissed. (Bibek Chaudhuri, J.)
