We have considered the materials on record.

Statements of witnesses show petitioner and co-accused had assaulted the victim. He suffered severe injuries on his head and expired.

Under such circumstances and in view of gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
