The petitioners allege an online fraud committed at the behest of one Raju Gurung and others. Consequent to such information, Frezergunj Costal P.S.

Case No. 84 of 2025 dated 01.06.2025 has been registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of the BNS.

Learned advocate submits that the petitioners are aggrieved by the fact that the provisions of Information & Technology

Act has not been incorporated.

State has submitted a report which reflects that steps have been taken.

However, having regard to the nature of the offence complained of, I direct that the present case being Frezergunj Coastal P.S. Case No. 84 of 2025 be transferred to the Cyber Crime Police Station, Sundarban Police District, who would carry out the investigation and take the same to its logical conclusion.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 13053 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

The Case Diary along with all the relevant documents/materials be handed over to the Inspector-in-charge/Officer-incharge of Cyber Crime Police Station, Sundarban Police District preferably in course of this week.

Report so submitted be kept with

the record.
