Pursuant to the direction made by this Court on July 6, 2023 report in the form of affidavit on behalf of the respondent no.7 affirmed on July 27, 2023 is filed today in Court, the same is taken on record.
Mr. Pinaki Ranjan Chatterjee, learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submits that his client shall not file any exception to this report.
It is significant to note that, despite direction of this Court dated July 6, 2023, the added respondent no.8 chose not to file any report neither to be represented today.
Ms. Ankita Ghosh, learned advocate, appears for the respondent no.7.
Referring to the annexutres appended at page 4 to the report filed by respondent no.7, Mr. Pinaki Ranjan Chatterjee, learned counsel for the petitioner submits
that the grievance of the petitioner in the writ petition stands redressed.
The petitioner shall not press the writ petition any further, in the light of the said resolution of the Managing Committee of the School dated July 24, 2023 appended to the report filed by respondent no.7.
As submitted by Ms. Ankita Ghosh, learned advocate appearing for the respondent no.7, upon instructions received from the respondent no.7 who is present in Court today, submits that the School Authority shall give effect to the said resolution dated July 24, 2023 positively within a month from date.
It is noted that respondent no.7, namely, Shri Srikanta Mondal is present in Court today in-person. His further appearance stands dispensed with and in view of the disposal of this writ petition as recorded above, the same will not be required any further.
WPA 12047 of 2019 along with IA No. CAN 1 of 2022 stand disposed of accordingly.
