The petitioner seeks a direction from this Court to the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) to supply an electricity connection to the petitioner's submersible pump set.

However, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to file a fresh application before the concerned Station Manager in accordance with the rules framed by the West Bengal Electricity Regulatory Commission.

Leave is granted to the petitioner to file a fresh application before the concerned authority under the regulations of the West Bengal Electricity Regulatory Commission within 30 days from the date of this order. If such an application is filed within the stipulated time frame, the concerned Station Manager of WBSEDCL shall consider and dispose of the same in accordance with law

within a period of 30 days thereafter.

With the above observations and directions, WPA 12901 of 2025 is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Kausik Chanda, J.)
