(VIA VIDEO CONFERENCE) Mr. Biswaroop Biswas Mr. Sayantan Hazra ...for the petitioner Mr. Chandi Charan De Mr. Anirban Sarkar ...for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that he has instruction not to proceed with the matter any further.

The written instruction filed by the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner be taken on record. It is submitted by the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State-respondents that by an order dated 13.06.2019 this Court directed that "Therefore, pending further orders the then SLAO, Mr. Gopal Chandra Das, shall suffer a deduction of 15% (Fifteen Per Cent) of his basic pay each month to be kept in a separate account with the District Magistrate and Collector, Nadia until further orders". Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Staterespondents submits that the said amount is lying with the District Magistrate and Collector, Nadia, and he may

be directed to pay the said amount to Gopal Chandra Das, the respondent no. 9 in the writ petition.

Having heard the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties and also as the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no grievance against the respondents any further, the amount lying with the District Magistrate and Collector, Nadia as referred to by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State be returned to Gopal Chandra Das, the respondent no. 9 in the writ petition in accordance with law.

WPA No. 12253 of 2018 is dismissed as not pressed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

All connected applications being CAN No. 1 of 2020 and CAN No. 2 of 2020 are disposed of accordingly. There shall be, however, no order as to costs. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties on usual undertakings. (Suvra Ghosh,J)
