Mr. Anirban Ray, learned Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the alleged contemnors produces instructions of the Director of Health Services, West Bengal dated 2nd February, 2022 addressed to him. The same is taken on record. It appears from the said instructions that all the payments due to the petitioner have been made and Pension Payment Order has also been sent to the Treasury.

It is expected that the Treasury releases pension including arrears from the date of superannuation to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible but not later than a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This Court appreciates the gesture of the learned Government Pleader in using his good offices to ensure that the contempt is purged and the matter is settled. The personal appearance of the alleged contemnors are dispensed with.

Rule shall stand discharged.

The application for contempt being CPAN No.

669 of 2021 shall also stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
