Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

Mr. Amritalal Chatterjee, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the alleged contemnor submits a report regarding compliance of the concerned authority by virtue of order of a Coordinate Bench of this Court dated 24th November, 2021 passed in C.O. 1569 of 2020.

It appears that in terms of the direction of this Court, Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Egra-II, Balighai, District: Purba Medinipur has passed an order disposing of the application filed by the petitioner under Section 15A of the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955 on 19th March, 2025. Perused the order.

It further appears that after passing the order the matter was placed before the concerned

Additional District Magistrate and District Land and Land Reforms Officer, Purba Medinipur for the purpose of correction of record of rights. They have initiated some miscellaneous cases, through online required information and necessary sanction has been placed before District Land and Land Reforms Officer. Current status of the portal has also been placed with the compliance report. It appears that the final record of rights was not prepared yet.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the necessary direction may be passed upon the concerned authority so that the record of rights may be published as early as possible. Having heard the learned counsel for the parties; it appears that the alleged contemnor has already complied with the order passed by this Court vide its order dated 19th March, 2025. As the order passed by this Court has already been complied with. So, there is no merit to proceed further with the instant contempt application. Thus, the contempt application is disposed of.

Rule issued, if any, is hereby recalled.

The authority concerned is directed to publish the record of rights according to the law as early as possible.

Accordingly, the contempt application being CPAN 600 of 2022 is disposed of.

Record of compliance is taken on record.

Parties to act upon the server copy and urgent certified copy of this order be provided on usual terms and conditions.
