Learned advocate for the State submits that the present is a long standing case and the charges are for heinous offences. I have taken into account the orders which have been passed by the learned CJM, Malda being fixed for commitment. Having regard to the same, I direct that in case the petitioner appears by 21st July, 2026, the petitioner be allowed to continue on the same bail and bond subject to the condition that he undertakes to appear on 5th August, 2026 [scheduled date being fixed by the learned Magistrate for commitment of the case].

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 2462 of 2026 is disposed of.
