Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that as the PPO has already been issued, the respondent authorities may be directed in this writ petition to extend the benefit of family pension under West Bengal Recognised Non-Government Educational Institution Employees (Death-cum-Retirement Benefit) Scheme, 1981 to the petitioner being the widow of a deceased primary school teacher without further delay and to release the family pension in favour of the petitioner with interest.

Learned counsel appearing for the State submits that e-PPO has already been released and files a document in that respect.

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

As the e-PPO has already been released, respondent authorities, namely the Treasury Officer, Arambagh, District - Hooghly is requested to extend the

benefit of family pension under West Bengal Recognised Non-Government Educational Institution Employees (Death-cum-Retirement Benefit) Scheme, 1981 to the petitioner being the widow of the deceased primary school teacher along with interest @ 8 % per annum within a period of eight weeks from date.

The writ petition is disposed of, however, no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit is called for, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
