The present revisional application was preferred challenging the proceedings of Sonarpur P.S. Case No.844 of 2018 dated 28.05.2018 under Sections 467/468/471/420/120B and Sections 25/27 of the Arms Act.

The Investigating Agency on conclusion of investigation has submitted charge-sheet only under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

Having regard to the subject matter of the case which arose because of private and personal dispute and the dispute and difference between complainant and the accused persons have been settled and further statement has been recorded pursuant to the direction passed by this Court by the Inspector-in-Charge, Sonarpur Police Station and as Sudip Sardar, the de facto

complainant of the case, has categorically stated that he do not intend to pursue the present criminal case, I am of the opinion that further continuance of the proceedings arising out of Sonarpur P.S. Case No.844 of 2018 dated 28.05.2018 including the charge-sheet submitted therein should be quashed.

Accordingly, CRR 1740 of 2021 along with CRAN 2 of 2021 is hereby allowed.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

Pending any other applications, if any, are hereby disposed of.
