1. Heard learned Counsel for both the parties.

2. Petitioner no.1 is the father-in-law of the deceased and petitioner no.2 is the married daughter of petitioner no.1.

3. Admittedly, the deceased died a suicidal death by taking poison and filing of charge sheet under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code makes it clear. Charge sheet is stated to have been filed in the meantime.

4. There is ominous allegation against the present petitioner so far as torture and harassment of the deceased for fulfillment of demand of dowry is concerned that too after 13 years of the marriage.

5. Regard being had to such facts and submissions, factum of permanent residence of the petitioner and completion of investigation, it is directed that each of the petitioners shall appear before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kalyani, Dist. Nadia in connection with Chakdah Police Station Case No.177 of 2023 dated 31.03.2023 within fifteen days from today.

6. On their appearance and application for bail the petitioners shall be released on bail on such terms and conditions as deemed just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

7. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail is allowed.
