We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner is the principal accused. He assaulted the victim on the throat. Medical report corroborates such allegation. Petitioner does not stand on the same footing with co-accused who has been enlarged on bail. Hence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected.
