Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the Council has obtained instruction from the Chairman which mentions that the petitioner got admitted in the Purulia Government Sponsored PTTI in the session, 2005-2006 and final examination was held in the year 2011. The petitioner never claimed for 'A' category scale of pay.

The Council is not aware about any application made by the petitioner seeking 'A' category scale of pay. In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of by granting leave to the petitioner to apply for receiving 'A' category scale of pay.

In the event the petitioner applies for receiving the said scale, the same shall be taken up for consideration

by the Chairman in accordance with the various orders that have been passed by this Court from time to time including the order dated 2nd May, 2024 passed in WPA 10134 of 2024 (Sadananda Mahato -vs- The State of West Bengal & Ors.).

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
