Ghosh Mr. MFA Begg ... for the state The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the revisional application upon Mr. Begg, learned advocate who ordinary appears on behalf of the state. His appointment may be regularised by the concerned authorities. The petitioner is anxious, regarding the complaint of trial in respect of Chakdah PS Case No.203 of 2022. It is submitted that out of 10 witnesses so cited by the prosecution, 4 witnesses have been examined and 6 more witnesses are to be examined.

The petitioner is in custody since 07.04.22 In view of the anxiety so expressed by the petitioner, I direct that the learned trial court would subsequently fix dates for evidence.

Trial of the case is smoothly in progress. In case there is any delay in trial, the learned special court will immediately communicate with the Superintendent of Police, Nadia so that all efforts are made for availability of witnesses who are to depose in connection with the instant case.

No unnecessary adjournment be granted to either of the parties.

Learned Public Prosecutor conducting the case would make available materials, exhibits and documents as the dates fixed for examination of the witnesses. All efforts are to be taken to conclude the trial at the earliest by fixing at least a schedule of 3 days on each and every 3 months. With the aforesaid observations, CRR 2067 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
