Appeal No. 7 of 2023 expeditiously.

Nag, learned advocate appears for the petitioner. He places reliance upon a decision passed by this Court on May 14, 2025 in a batch of civil revisional applications, the lead case being C.O. 1167 of 2024 in the case of Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata Vs. Bhagirath Kejriwal & Ors. and prays that a time line be fixed for disposal of the said appeal.

The opposite party is represented by its learned advocate. He submits that the opposite party has not taken any unnecessary adjournment in the said P.P. Appeal.

Mr. Nag, learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the P.P. Appeal No.7 of 2023 was heard in part on 19th March, 2025. He further submits that 18th July, 2025 and 22nd July, 2025 has been fixed for further hearing of the P.P. Appeal.

In the light of the submissions made by Mr. Nag, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner, the learned Additional District Judge, 12th Court at Alipore is requested to make an endeavour to dispose of the P.P. Appeal No. 7 of 2023 as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties keeping in mind the order passed by this Court on 14th May, 2025 in C.O. 1167 of 2024.

With the above observations and directions, C.O. 2064 of 2025 stands disposed of.

There shall be, however, no order as to costs. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
