The DPSC, North 24-Parganas has filed a report in the form of an affidavit and the same is taken on record. 2.

It appears that by a communication the petitioner was asked to submit her credentials as 'SC (EC)' candidate on 17th May, 2023.

It appears that the petitioner did not turn up on the said date.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she has not received the notification as evident from the postal endorsement that the petitioner's address could not be traced.

In the above circumstances, this Court directs the Chairman, DPSC, North 24-Parganas to hear the petitioner in-person on 28th June, 2024 at 2 pm. The

petitioner shall be present before the Chairman, DPSC on 28th June, 2024 at 2 pm along with all her credentials and documents for verification.

The petitioner claims that she is an 'SC (EC)' candidate and not a 'SC' candidate.

The Chairman, DPSC, North 24-Parganas shall examine the same.

8.

If so satisfied, the Chairman, DPSC, North 24Parganas shall take further steps in the matter in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

10.

There shall be no order as to costs.
