D/L 103 01.07.2025 Bpg.

ct.no.35 W.P.A.13135 of 2025 Narayan Manna

Versus

State of West Bengal & Ors.

Mr. A. Das Mr. Chirantan Sarkar.

...for the petitioner.

Mr. Jayanta Samanta Ms. Indumouli Banerjee.

...for the State-respondents.

Mr. Niladri Sekhar Ghosh Ms. Sompurna Chatterjee Ms. Labani Sikder Mr. Souvik Dey.

...for the private respondents.

Affidavit-of-service filed by the petitioner be kept with the record.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities. As in spite of receiving the representation on 22.05.2025, no steps have been taken.

Learned advocate for the private respondents is present.

State has submitted a report which reflects that Khanakul Police Station Case No.440 dated 20.06.2025 has already been registered against some of the private respondents.

Having regard to the steps which have been taken by the police authorities, at this stage, I am of the view that further directions of the court are unwarranted. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the police inaction, he would approach the jurisdictional Magistrate with regular prayers.

Thus, WPA 13135 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
