C.R.M. Shaila Afrin Mr. Aritra Bhattacharya ... For the State Report submitted by the State is taken on record. It appears from the report that no document was produced by the petitioner before the investigating officer in support of his claim.

Opposing the said submission, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that all the original documents produced by the petitioner were taken by the investigating agency but no seizure list was prepared for the same.

The petitioner has produced his Aadhar Card, PAN card in support of his contention that he is an Indian citizen. He is in custody for about 4 months. The documents are yet to be verified. Charges have been framed.

Considering the material on record, this Court is of the view that the petitioner is at flight risk and granting him bail at this stage may result in delay in trial of the case.

Prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

Learned trial Court is directed to expedite the trial without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

The application for bail is disposed of.
