The petitioner complains of inaction on the part of the Chatterjeehat Police Station in investigating into the Case No.235/18 dated 15th December 2018. The bank seeks transfer of the investigation to the CBI. Learned counsel for the State has produced a report in the form of instructions dated 23rd February 2022 issued by the Officer-in-Charge, Chatterjeehat Police Station addressed to the learned Government Pleader and the same is taken on record.

It appears from the said report that the accused persons have been arrested and one was in judicial custody for quite sometime.

Documents and properties have been seized from one Ereeck Technologies and charge sheet No.160/20 dated 31st December under Sections 420/406/468/471/120B of the IPC has been filed

against Ayanjit Kumar Chatterjee and Anuradha Ganguly.

The petitioner may obtain a copy of the charge sheet from the concerned ACJM and take appropriate steps in accordance with law.

Since the investigation has been completed and charge sheet has been filed, the question of transfer of the case to the CBI, therefore, does not and cannot arise.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
