1. The petitioner has approached this Court being aggrieved by the action of the authorities of Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata in putting a pad lock over the main entrance gate of the jute mill.

2. On the prayer of the learned advocate for the petitioner leave is granted to the petitioner to file supplementary affidavit. Supplementary affidavit filed in Court today is taken on record. Copy of such supplementary affidavit has been served upon Mr. Nag, learned advocate appearing for the respondent, Port Trust Authority.

3. Mr. Nag, learned advocate appearing for the Port Trust Authorities raises an objection as to the maintainability of this writ petition.

4. After some argument Mr. Bhattacharya, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner prays for leave to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to take appropriate steps before the proper forum in accordance with law.

5. In the light of the submissions made by Mr. Bhattacharya, learned advocate for the petitioner the writ petition stand dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to approach the proper forum seeking appropriate reliefs.

6. In the light of the submissions made by Mr. Bhattacharya issue of maintainability of this writ petition has not been gone into.

7. This court expresses the hope and trust that if the petitioner approaches the proper forum, such forum shall decide expeditiously and in accordance with law. (Hiranmay Bhattacharyya, J.)
