Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities as in spite of informing regarding her daughter missing, no steps have been taken.

State has submitted a report which reflects that the daughter of the petitioner is aged 33 years and over a particular phone number on 13.06.2025 the enquiry officer had a conversation with the missing lady where she clearly stated that she left her matrimonial house on 09.05.2025 voluntarily for search of work. The missing lady has also stated that she is residing at Angamalik TV Junction, Kerala. She is staying with a lady and working there. The enquiry officer has also spoken with the missing lady over video call.

Having regard to the fact that the police authorities are confident regarding the whereabouts of the lady who is 33 years old, as such the police authorities are not in a position to compel the lady to act against her conscience and will.

6, and submits that unnecessarily the respondents have been implicated on the basis of hearsay accusations and there is no foundation to the accusations made so far as the respondents are concerned.

In view of the police authorities having taken steps, petitioner, if she is desirous of further information, would contact with Baduria Police Station. No further directions are required to be passed by this Court.

Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 13209 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
