Petitioner made an application for transfer on the ground of distance in between the school of the petitioner and his place of residence far back on 17th October, 2021 which was not contemporaneously considered by the concerned respondent authorities. Present writ petition has been filed on 16th June, 2025 which is three years after accrual of cause of action. There is no plausible explanation of delay in approaching this Court belatedly.

In view of delay caused this Court finds transfer application dated 17th October, 2021 ought not to be revived. However, leave is granted to the petitioner to make fresh application for transfer in the

prescribed proforma by fortnight from date. If application for transfer is made within the aforesaid time it is expected that concerned respondent authorities shall take steps in accordance with law to process the transfer application of the petitioner. Accordingly, WPA 13174 of 2025 stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
