The petitioner participated in a recruitment process in the year 2014 for appointment as a primary school teacher. In 2023 an application was made before the information officer for supplying certain information regarding the selection process.

As no reply was forwarded, a first appeal was preferred. As no response was made in the first appeal, a second appeal was preferred before the State Information Commission. The petitioner alleges that the second appellate authority also remained silent.

Learned counsel for the second appellate authority hands over a copy of the order dated January 15, 2025 before the Court wherefrom it appears that the query of the petitioner has been answered.

Let a copy of the order of the West Bengal Information Commission dated January 15, 2025 be handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

In the event the petitioner is aggrieved by the same, it will be open for her to approach the competent statutory forum in accordance with law, if so advised.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
